Overview
[Your Company Name] ("we," "us," or "our") operates Steadose (the "Site"). This policy explains what information the Site collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
Your Medication Schedule Data
The medication information you enter into the Builder tool (names, dosages, times, and notes) is stored only in your own browser, using a browser feature called local storage. It is not transmitted to, or stored on, our servers, and we do not have access to it. Clearing your browser's site data, using a different browser, or switching devices will remove it. Printing a copy or downloading a PDF creates a file that belongs entirely to you.
Premium Subscription & Reminder Data
If you choose to subscribe to the optional Medication Reminders add-on, we store the reminder details you provide (medication name, dosage, the phone number you want reminders texted to, and the times/days you choose) so we can send you a text message reminder and so you can manage your reminders while signed in. The phone number you enter does not have to be your own; caregivers can send reminders to the phone of the person they're caring for. Text messages are sent through Twilio, our messaging provider. Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number. Stripe may collect billing information directly from you according to its own privacy policy. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Pricing page, and you can delete individual reminders at any time from the Builder page.
Information We Collect Automatically
Like most websites, the Site automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as your approximate location, browser type, device type, and the pages you view. We use this information in aggregate, anonymized form to understand how the Site is used and to improve it.
Cookies & Third-Party Services
The Site uses the following third-party services, which may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics: helps us understand how visitors use the Site, using anonymized, aggregated usage data.
- Google AdSense: displays advertising on the Site and may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can review and adjust your ad preferences through Google's Ad Settings.
- Stripe: processes payments for the optional Premium subscription and handles all billing details on our behalf.
- Twilio: sends the text message for each Medication Reminder to the phone number you provide, for Premium subscribers only.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time.
Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
Because your medication schedule stays in your own browser, you're always in control of it: use the Clear All button on the Builder page, or clear your browser's site data, to remove it completely.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
